Montana Correctional Enterprises

Montana Correctional Enterprises provides accountability, rehabilitation, and empowerment opportunities to individuals currently involved in, or exiting the Montana Department of Corrections prison system. The goal of this organization is to create safer communities by contributing to the success of individuals involved in the criminal justice system. They do this by providing meaningful education, work experience, and transitional support services that assist individuals reentering the community to become good neighbors and productive members of society. Public safety is benefited through the programs at MCE by keeping incarcerated individuals active and engaged, and providing support services that allow releasing citizens the opportunities to learn life and job skills. Program services include general and vocational education, on the job training, marketable job skills, development in work ethic, job readiness courses, and more. Work experience is provided for programs in agriculture, dog training, community work, and educational programs. MCE also provides reentry assistance in obtaining identification records such as Montana ID, driver's license, social security card, and birth certificate. Contact Montana Correctional Enterprises for more information on their services.
