Network Support Services, Inc.

Network Support Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides rehabilitation and re-entry programs for incarcerated people and parolees in New York State. They aim to empower incarcerated people to transform their lives and re-enter the community as productive citizens with a renewed sense of purpose. Network Support Services, Inc. engages people who are committed to changing and rebuilding their lives through their prison-based therapeutic programs and our community-based programs for returning citizens. Network provides transformative programs in four New York State correctional facilities: Otisville, Fishkill, Wallkill and Woodbourne. In those prisons, Network members gather weekly for therapeutic group sessions, educational workshops and re-entry preparation. Workshops and coursework include Communication Skills and Public Speaking; Access to Academic Paths: ABE, GED, Undergrad and Grad Programs; Entrepreneurship, Renewable Energy, Organic Farming; Discharge Planning, Resumé Writing, Life Plan Development; Anger Management Training; Addiction Support and Substance Abuse Prevention; Conflict Resolution, Mindfulness and Stress Reduction; Life Skills and Financial Literacy. Other services are Educational Services, including Family Counseling; Health Services; One-On-One Counseling; Job Readiness, Training and Placement; Housing Referrals; Anger Management Training and Substance Abuse Prevention.
