Nevada DOC Re-Entry Program

The Nevada Department of Corrections Reentry Program is designed to lower recidivism rates for individuals in the corrections system. The division offers targeted programming, mental health services, job development placement support, educational programming and substance abuse treatment services. Additionally, the organization collaborates with Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, God Behind Bars, and Hope For Prisoners to provide access to addiction management programming and faith based services for formerly incarcerated individuals who choose to participate. The goal of the reentry program is to give all justice impacted individuals the best chance at permanently reintegrating into the community, reducing the barriers they face to independent living and facilitating support services that address the underlying causes that often lead to reoffense. This services are available to individuals who have completed their sentence, as well as those living in the community under court supervision.
