Northern Utah Community Correctional Center
Description
The Northern Utah Community Correctional Center (NUCCC) is a Utah Department of Corrections facility in Ogden, Utah. It has 154 beds for individuals on probation or parole. The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole sends residents to the center. The center offers sex offense and substance abuse treatment programs, mental health counseling, and life skills help while incarcerated people transition from prison to the community. The programming unit offers many therapeutic opportunities, such as substance abuse therapy, sex offender therapy, mental health therapy and life skills. Based on various assessments, a Case Action Plan (CAP) is formulated with the resident to assist them in reducing their risk of returning to prison or jail. Additionally, a small library with reading materials is available. Legal libraries may be accessed through the public library system with permission.
