The Office of the Colorado State Public Defender's Steamboat Office is a branch office located in Steamboat Springs. With one state public defender, one first assistant state public defender, two chief deputy public defenders and two chief trial deputies, the office serves the Grand, Moffat and Routt counties. The mission of the Public Defender's Steamboat Springs Office is to defend and protect the rights, liberties, and dignity of those accused of crimes who cannot afford to retain counsel.
