On Point Reentry Consortium, Inc.

Description

On Point Reentry Consortium (OPRC) is an organization providing research-based reentry training, consulting, and coaching services. OPRC has a two-fold mission: first, to provide training to reentry professionals who serve justice impacted individuals.; second, to act as an information broker by connecting justice impacted individuals to the resources needed to access support throughout the community to deliver a smooth transition. The OPP (On Point Planning) Information Session provides work-related support services to reentry individuals. They provide information on how to prepare and present individuals to reentry-friendly employers, as well as how to connect with social service programs focused on addressing the barriers associated with reintegration. After orientation, participants receive bus passes for employment, limited funds for work tools, one-on-one assistance with job readiness skills, referrals to community resources for basic needs and job leads to reentry-friendly employers. For more information or to request entry into the program, contact the organization directly.
