Randolph County Housing Authority (RCHA)
Description
Randolph County Housing Authority (RCHA) is a non-traditional housing authority with a mission to promote strong communities and healthy quality of life in the rural six-county region it serves. The RCHA offers a Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities (WORC) program. This pilot program aims to increase access to training programs for first-time job seekers, under-employed individuals, displaced workers, and those who will be leaving a corrections institute and entering the workforce. The WORC program helps Randolph County residents gain meaningful employment by focusing on career and technical training and certifications for job readiness. RCHA's Homelessness Program assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness and at serious risk of becoming homeless by helping them move into transitional and permanent housing. Additionally, they provide self-sufficiency programs, case management services, education and employment services, drug and alcohol treatment programs, and other necessary support. Contact Randolph County Housing Authority directly for more information on their services.
