RECH Foundation
Description
RECH Foundation is a community based organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all community members regardless of background. Their mission is to serve individuals who are impacted by the criminal justice system, and to permanently disrupt the cycle of recidivism across Mississippi. The Wendy Hatcher Home provides transitional housing services to formerly incarcerated women who are working to reenter the community. Women in residence have access to the Wendy Hatcher Legacy Gift, which completely covers the cost for women in the program and allows to focus their entire attention on preparing for independent, self sufficient living in the community. Additionally, RECH Foundation conducts ministry inside prisons to provide spiritual guidance and positive mentorship for currently incarcerated individuals as they prepare to reintegrate into society. They also work with Mississippi Offender Reentry Establishment, a program designed to offer vocational services and end the stigma against individuals in the community with criminal convictions.
