Samaritan House Montana

Samaritan House is a nonprofit organization that works to end homelessness in the Flathead Valley area. Their mission is to provide basic needs and shelter to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, while fostering human dignity and self-respect in the process. They work alongside struggling people in a variety of ways, including providing shelter, creating stability, and advocating for increased independence by encouraging efforts to locate employment and housing. Their shelter program has the capacity to house 32 individuals, 4 families, 14 individual transitional apartments, and 4 individual veteran pods. Individuals that have completed the shelter program are eligible for a permanent apartment through Samaritan House. Shelter services also include access to individualized case management, budgeting assistance, healthcare services, clothing and hygiene materials, nutritious food, caring staff members that provide a supportive environment, and other resources.
