The Centre for Justice & Reconciliation
The Centre for Justice and Reconciliation is part of Prison Fellowship International, a collaborative that supports justice and reunification. Their mission is to promote restorative justice throughout the criminal justice system as an alternative to incarceration. The Centre for Justice and Reconciliation oversees a number of programs related to restorative justice. The Sycamore Tree Project uses a research-based curriculum to foster conversation around justice between survivors and people with criminal convictions. The Communities of Restoration program serves incarcerated individuals through faith-based mentorship and guidance to facilitate healing and restoration. The System Reform Projects advocate for restorative justice policies and programs that help alleviate overcrowded corrections facilities and backlogged court systems. Individuals can contact the center for more information or to discuss specific services.
