The Episcopal Diocese of Hawai’i Prison Ministry
The Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii is a faith-based nonprofit offering prison ministry and prison reform services in the state of Hawaii. The Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii promotes rehabilitation, restoration, and therapeutic programs through research, re-education, advocacy, and community organization. Their mission is based on new awareness and learnings of the flawed criminal justice system in Hawaii. In order to create a more merciful system, Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii is dedicated to reviewing and reassessing the past, and beginning the long process of education and advocacy. Alongside criminal justice reform services, they offer program services that serve both currently incarcerated individuals and those exiting the prison system. For those released from prison, compassionate, prayerful, and material support and assistance is essential.
