The Francisco Homes
The Francisco Homes is a faith based program working to assist individuals who are returning to the community after incarceration. They offer a number of services to assist individuals with the factors that make recidivism likely, including mental health services, life skills, group activities and job assistance. Mental health services include weekly group workshops and peer support, as well as schedule one on one services with a licensed practitioner. Like skills support includes assistance mastering the concept of budgeting, writing and following meal plans, financial literacy training and legal services as necessary. Staff at The Francisco Homes also provide job training, interview preparation and assistance visiting job fairs whenever possible. Participants have the opportunity to participate in workshops and act as leaders in the community, providing first hand knowledge of the justice system and how to avoid incarceration.
