The HelpKC

The HelpKC is a community based organization dedicated to supporting justice involved women during the reentry process and beyond. Their mission is to act as a support network and provide the resources necessary for formerly incarcerated women to break the cycle of incarceration. All vulnerable women in the community are eligible for most services, including: vocational training, job placement, transportation and recovery support, and referrals to social service organizations in the area. The Reentry REcall program was developed specifically to intervene with justice involved women as they return to the community, giving all participants the best opportunity at disrupting the cycle of incarceration. In order to enter this program, women must begin with an intake interview to discuss eligibility and availability. They can schedule this interview using a form provided on the organization website. For more information about specific programs or services, individuals should contact the organization directly using the information on this page.
