The Learning Connection is an education resource program by Alaska's Education Resource Center for youth and adults in Juneau and Southeast Alaska. Through education, The Learning Connection is able to help individuals build a better life. Students are able to choose from a variety of available programs, build valuable skills, and connect with other education and employment opportunities. The Learning Connection services include GED prep and testing, driver training, job skills and search, trades training, english language and citizenship, work experience, and college prep. They offer programs to provide training and paid work experience for youth ages 16-24 and adults 55 and older including opportunities for mentorship and support in health care fields. They also refer students to other local agencies for mental health, physical health and access other resources to help their students succeed in the classroom.
