The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse is a faith-based ministry serving the homeless, people recovering from a drug or alcohol addiction, or recently released from prison. Their programs include transitional housing, drug and alcohol recovery support, transportation, and a back-to-work program that prepares individuals to re-enter the workforce and pairs them with local employers who give them a second chance. The Nehemiah Program helps individuals overcome addiction and return to their home communities sober, employed, capable of independent housing, and engaged in helping others. Their Safe Harbor IOP is an outpatient program designed to support participants, help with relapse management, and provide coping strategies. Additionally, the ministry collaborates with state, local government agencies and Judicial systems, such as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Judges, District Attorneys, Public Defenders, Probation Officers, Parole Officers, Community Correction Officers and private practice attorneys, and other public officials. Interested individuals can download an application for admission from their website and send it to the admissions department at the address provided on this page.
