Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness
The Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness is a community-based collaborative working to put an end to homelessness in Tucson. The coalition combines the efforts of community leaders, faith-based organizations, government programs, local businesses and individuals committed to preventing homelessness and supporting those facing housing emergencies. Their goal is to completely eradicate homelessness in Tucson and Pima counties. To achieve this goal, the collaborative meets throughout the year to discuss gaps in available services, trends in unhoused populations, catalog data related to homelessness in the community, develop strategic priorities and propose solutions to address gaps. Staff and volunteers are also dedicated to raising awareness about homelessness in Tucson and Pima counties, as well as the issues that often lead to and perpetuate housing emergencies. The Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness hopes to serve as the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Continuum of Care for Tucson and Pima counties.
