VOA Minnesota and Wisconsin Community Reentry
VOA Minnesota and Wisconsin Community Reentry is a community based organization offering a broad range of social services. These services are organized into distinct categories based on the specific needs of each individual, including a support team focused on the barriers associated with returning to the community after incarceration. One of the most important aspects of reentry support is their transitional housing program. These Residential Reentry Centers operate under the jurisdiction of the Minnesota Department of Corrections and offer residents an opportunity to complete the end of their sentences in the community. This gives them an opportunity to begin working toward permanent reentry by connecting with vocational and educational support services available to justice involved individuals. Additionally, residents participate in workshops, mentorship and case management to ensure that they have the best chance at reintegrating once they are released back into the community.
