ACLU North Dakota

The ACLU of North Dakota is a nonpartisan organization that works in communities, legislatures and courts to preserve the rights and liberties enshrined by the Constitution of the United States of America. Its mission is to realize this promise of the United States Constitution for all and expand the reach of its guarantees. ACLU takes up the civil liberties cases and issues to defend all people from government abuse and overreach. They take on individual and class action lawsuits that have the potential to change the law and broaden and strengthen civil liberties in North Dakota. Educating and engaging with the public is vital to the mission of the ACLU of North Dakota. ACLU of ND works on broad issues such as capital punishment, disability rights, free speech, redistricting or gerrymandering and immigrants' rights.
