Anchorage Reentry Coalition

The Anchorage Reentry Coalition is a collective of more than 45 agencies, programs and individuals working to improve successful reintegration practices and reduce recidivism in Anchorage and throughout Alaska. This collective aims to both improve public safety and improve justice impacted individuals reentry outcomes. They run a hands-on Reentry Simulation program in an effort to raise awareness about the process of reentering society from a correctional institution, and to educate participates about the barriers and challenges associated with reentry. They also provide transformative, participant centered reentry resources and opportunities beginning the day of incarceration so that each returning citizen has the opportunity of a successful reintegration process. Anchorage Reentry Coalition supports the implementation and delivery of a wide-range of programs, including services related to: housing, employment, transportation, support systems, and access to integrated healthcare.
