Believe in Me Empowerment Corporation (BIMEC) is a nonprofit committed to improving the lives of justice-impacted children, young adults and their loved ones. They hope to achieve this goal through direct and indirect programming which offers residential services, life skills development and counseling support for participants in the program. Their Supportive Housing Services program houses up to 32 men and 11 women for as long as 60 days. This service is available to men and women returning to the community after incarceration. They also offer community case management designed to serve individualized needs and recovery. BIMEC fosters two youth empowerment programs to promote literacy and provide mentorship targeting violence prevention and career development.
