Bridgeport Adult Education

The Bridgeport Adult Education Program provides education services to adult learners through the Bridgeport Public School system in the Bridgeport, Connecticut area. The mission of the Bridgeport Adult Education Program is to empower students to reach their occupational, personal, and educational goals through a personalized learning experience. A wide variety of courses are available to help develop necessary skills for success. These adult education services include programs for High School Credit Based Diploma Program (HSCDP), General Education Development (GED), National External Diploma Program (NEDP), English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, and Adult Basic Education (ABE) program. Through these enrichment programs, participants are able to continue their education dreams, enter the workforce, fully integrate into their communities, and get ahead in life. In order to be eligible for The Bridgeport Adult Education Program participants must be at least 17 years of age or older, and not currently enrolled in school.
