Center for Effective Public Policy’s Delaware Reentry Project

The Delaware Reentry Project is a project funded through a JPMorgan Chase grant and partnered with Delaware Correctional Reentry Commission. The project was tasked with collecting data and providing a comprehensive landscape of reentry in Delaware. Through their research, Delaware Reentry Project hoped to identify gaps in reentry services and create an actionable plan to improve reentry services across the state. Following the publication of the report, researchers recommend four key changes: create a master plan for reentry, support current social justice organizations focused on reentry, develop an infrastructure to continuously investigate the efficacy of reentry programs, and invest in wraparound services to ensure that all individuals have access to the care they need regardless. Authors of the report hope to positively impact the community, reduce incarceration and support individuals who face immense barriers after release. For more information about specific services, individuals should contact the organization directly using the information on this page.
