Community Service, Inc., or CSI, is a nonprofit organization offering youth and family services to residents of Arkansas. Since their foundation in 1958, CSI has been committed to providing quality services that will empower young people and their families to achieve success in their homes, schools, communities and careers. Their service professionals are dedicated to helping youth (aged 18 and younger) in need through prevention and education, foster care, day treatment, substance abuse services, and mental health services. Additionally, a primary goal of theirs is to assist youth in avoiding contact, or further contact, with the justice system through their Youth Justice Program. This program allows participants to perform court-ordered community service work, complete intervention classes, and submit to electronic monitoring. Referrals to this program are made by local juvenile courts, the Division of Youth Services, out-of-state agencies, and personal referrals.
