Compassion Prison Project's (CPP) mission is to transform prisons and communities through compassionate action. They are focused on bringing childhood trauma awareness, education and healing to prisons and communities both in the U.S. and globally. Their mission is to transform prisons into healing and education centers so that the most traumatized people in our society can be supported and cared for. They do so via their Trauma Talks project. They are also developing projects like Healing Box geared toward reducing stress, anxiety and depression via videos of somatic healing lessons, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) (otherwise known as tapping), meditation and mindfulness courses, EMDR, behavior classes.
