Courage to Change is faith based organization committed to providing spiritual guidance and mentorship to incarcerated individuals. Volunteers with Courage to Change believe that all individuals deserve a second chance at life, and that Christ promises all individuals a pathway to salvation. Currently, the organization provides prison ministry inside a number of correctional facilities, including Tucker, Varner, Wrightsville, and Cummins corrections centers. These ministries are designed to inspire hope and motivate change for justice involved individuals, as well as create a community of support within the prison. Courage to Change believes the that the Bible is inspired by God, without error. It serves as the authority on which they base their faith, conduct and doctrine. In addition to prison ministry, they offer children’s ministry for at-risk youth and recovery ministry for those with a history of chemical dependence.
