Crossroads for Women's mission is to provide comprehensive, integrated services to empower women emerging from incarceration. So that they can achieve safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives in the community, for themselves and their children. They provide Transition houses for women exiting incarceration. They are housed in one either Maya’s Place in Albuquerque and The Pavilions in Los Lunas. Eligible women must be clients of NMCD Probation and Parole, Pre-Trial*, or Federal*, have a mental health diagnosis, have a drug or alcohol addiction. They also provide case management, family support, vocational services, and groups focused on recovery and mental health. Minor children Can live with women but partners Cannot. They are allowed to take all prescribed medications.
