Delancey Street Foundation

The Delancey Street Foundation is a residential program committed to helping people with chemical dependence, connection to gang life and/or experiencing housing insecurity. They believe that issues are interconnected, and their programming works to address multiple hardships simultaneously. All participants both receive and provide education; individuals also receive job training and support, as well as coaching on interpersonal skills. Delancey Street Foundation takes a community approach, so all participants are active both in resolving their individual issues and assisting others. There are six residential facilities available to individuals based on their location, including New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, California, Massachusetts and South Carolina. Potential participants can contact the site closest to them for intake and admissions.
