Dismas Charities, Inc. is a nonprofit provider of residential, effective, evidence-based reentry services in the United States. The entry centers connect wrongdoers with thousands of job opportunities every year. Those who would otherwise be confined to prison reside in the centers, where they work, provide valuable community service, and pay taxes, child support, fines, or other restitution. Dismas Charities provides quality, cost-effective, community-based supervision and support services while focusing on Healing the Human Spirit.  Through a variety of programs, they provide education in the areas of Religious Studies; Anger Management; Women’s Programs; Alcoholics-Narcotics- and Cocaine-Anonymous; Parenting and Marriage Enhancement; Employment and Job Skills; GED, Trade, and College courses; Money Management; Healthy Lifestyles; and active involvement in the community. Dismas staff works with residents to deliver job-specific training and support to help make a successful transition to long-term employment. They also offer support in the form of clothing, family counseling support and medical assistance
