East Arkansas Youth Services, Inc., or EAYS, provides positive alternatives to institutionalization for children involved or at risk of becoming involved with the juvenile justice system. This mission of this community-based nonprofit organization is to provide comprehensive, therapeutic, educational and advocacy services to youth and their families. Nonresidential services are offered to at-risk and delinquent youth, both male and female, aged 8 to18 years of age. Residential services are provided to males and females of the same age range. East Arkansas Youth Services believes instilling motivation and courage empowers at-risk youth to become healthy and productive members of their East Arkansas communities. Therefore, EAYS strives to develop strong, cooperative relationships with the local service community, law enforcement, and the justice system.
