Fair Shake is dedicated to reducing the recidivism rate through personal and community-focused ownership. They offer engagement opportunities for inmates and former felons in connection with families, employers, property managers, corrections and communities. Fair Shake offers resources for many stakeholders, it also offers people an opportunity to explore ‘better thinking’ such as questioning biases, ownership of our behavior and emotions, as well as encouraging understanding, personal and social development, and – most of all – the spirit of ubuntu, since ‘it’s a small world’ and it’s becoming clear that we are all connected.
