Description

Family ReEntry’s goal is to disrupt cycles of violence and interactions with police through client-centered interventions and support services to encourage and empower individuals, families and communities. Their programs focus on three interrelated sectors: Prevention, Intervention, and Reentry. Together, they provide a variety of services developed to help interrupt the cycle of incarceration. FRE addresses the individual needs of each participant and their families through targeted case management and support services. Staff work to foster a positive community for each individual, making their reentry from prison successful and assisting them on a road of independence while strengthening their families and the community. FRE’s programs include: Domestic Violence Treatment and Education, Community Reentry, Mentoring Programs and Intensive Outpatient Programs. They serve strategic areas around Connecticut, with offices in Bridgeport, Norwalk and New Haven.
