Description

Focus Reentry is a nonprofit that mobilizes and trains committed volunteers to act as support for incarcerated men and women in the Boulder County Jail. They serve individuals before incarceration, during confinement, and during reentry into the community. The goal of Focus Reentry is to promote second chances for incarcerated individuals, lower recidivism, and positively impact the community. Focus Reentry mentors support their clients’ transitions back into the community, helping them to stabilize, restore their lives, and work toward self-sufficiency. Through a one-year partnership that begins during incarceration, their participants are able to make significant changes and see the benefit of having an advocate who always shows up.
