Description

Friendly House was first established in 1920 to help immigrants obtain education, literacy and citizenship. They have grown into a multi-service organization that provides support for an increasingly diverse community. Friendly House programs focus on four core areas of service: Education, Workforce Development, Family Services and Immigration. They have several educational opportunities, such as the Academic del Pueblo school for children, an early childhood center and adult education programs. Friendly House also provides immigration and legal services, as well as chemical dependence counseling and support. Their emergency support services include assistance for unhoused people and low-income families with financial instability. Individuals can contact Friendly House directly for assistance with any of their programming or services.
