Friendship Mission

Friendship Mission offers a faith-based shelter for the unhoused and impoverished in the River Region. They promote compassion and provide services that build self-sufficiency. Friendship Mission is available for emergency shelter, which includes food and access to basic needs. FMI also assists individuals with locating and utilizing community resources that will help them to live independently in their own homes. Participants have 12 months to work with a Friendship Mission mentor to establish their own home and financial security. There is also a soup kitchen available which provides free meals to both participants and members of the River Region community. Interested individuals can apply for entry into the shelter through their website.
