Garland County Jail Ministries, Inc. is a jail ministry. Their purpose is to provide incarcerated people and their families a Christ-centered ministry through Christian Education, discipleship training, and pastoral care leading toward physical, spiritual and emotional growth through a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. They provide one-on-one counseling to men, women and juveniles who are incarcerated at the Detention Center and acts as a liaison between the Sheriff’s Office, churches and other civic organizations. They also offer Bible studies, Worship Services, prayers, complimentary Bibles and correspondence, Christian education materials and devotionals.
The Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse is an initiative led by the University of Michigan Law School, that brings together and analyzes information and documents about important civil rights cases across the United States.
