Gold Canyon Heart & Home (GCHH) is a Phoenix-based nonprofit organization. Through peer-to-peer relationships, GCHH mentors incarcerated people through the reentry process. They inspire hope while they’re still incarcerated and then provide support and resources upon release. In addition, GCHH assists in obtaining an ID Card, Drivers License, Social Security Card, I.O.P. Services, Housing Assistance and Placement. They can also help resolve legal matters, employment issues and restore driving privileges. GCHH/New Freedom Project maintains a partnership with the Parole Department that allows its members access to their parole officers with on-site parole officers. Additionally, they provide clothing for general and workplace needs and hygiene kits. Moreover, GCHH offers prison pick-up service and transportation to and from all appointments. On an as-needed case-by-case basis, GCHH also provides scholarships to their mentees. The website of GCHH offers downloadable reentry resources and guides for justice-impacted people. If you have any questions about GCHH and their services, please contact them directly.
