Good Samaritan Advocates is a faith-based legal aid ministry. We provide free legal advice to qualifying individuals in Northern Virginia and Montgomery County, MD. Though our staff and volunteers are Christian - we help all income-qualifying individuals regardless of their faith. Their counsel services include family law, domestic abuse/violence, debt and credit, employment, housing, elder laws and wills and immigration. They do not counsel on criminal cases. Good Samaritan Advocates can also help clients understand their legal rights, explain legal concepts related to legal issues, explain documents or paperwork, provide advice on negotiating a dispute, recommend action steps to resolve legal issues, help clients prepare for self-representation, point clients towards other resources, and pray with you and for you.
