The Help and Outreach Point of Entry (HOPE) Inc. assists those in need obtain healthcare, social, and basic living services. They provide assistance obtaining documents, such as birth certificates, social security cards and Maryland state ID. They also provide financial assistance to obtain doctor’s appointments, prescribed medication and other health-related needs, as well as flu vaccines and tuberculosis screenings. They also provide mental and physical health assessments by registered nurses and referrals to appropriate programs. If you are in need of housing, HOPE provides shelter and transitional housing referrals. HOPE works with clients through interviews and assessments to establish need priorities to end the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
