House of Ruth is a community based organization dedicated to improving the lives of women, children and families in the aftermath of trauma. Their mission is to empower survivors of domestic abuse, women and families experiencing homelessness, and those healing from trauma. Their holistic approach ensures that participants receive both immediate assistance and the ongoing support they need to make permanent changes in their lives. In addition to residential services for families and single women, House of Ruth provides trauma-informed childcare and personalized counseling to overcome trauma and abuse. Homes for women assist residents through case management and peer mentorship, working hard to help all women achieve self-sufficiency and independence. Homes for families provide family-bonding workshops, parenting classes, recovery services, mental health care, life skills training and various counseling models. For more information about specific services or to inquire about available space in one of their homes, contact House of Ruth directly.
