J.O.Y. Ministry For Jesus (Jesus First. Others Second. Yourselves Third.) organizes a local mission week, holds a summer camp and afterschool program for at-risk youth, organizes national and international mission trips for youth and adults from our area, and runs a local crisis resource center and emergency shelter in our town. They aim to care for the least and the lost by providing food, toiletries, clothing, temporary shelter, help with finding permanent housing and employment, and rent and utility assistance. They also offer programs like Bible studies, financial planning classes, and recovery group meetings. Finally, they transport children from local neighborhoods to the Meals on the Square program that provides free breakfasts and lunches to students during the farmer’s market on Saturdays. They provide residents of crisis resource center a grace-filled path towards a fulfilling life that allows them to contribute positively to their community.
F5 Project is a nonprofit organization that helps the formerly incarcerated, those suffering from addiction, the veterans and anyone needing housing, recovery resources, peer support or a plan to change their life.
