Jesus Set The Captive Free (JSCF) works to empower the ex-incarcerated, veterans and the homeless through information and education, along with emotional and faith-based support that will strengthen their way of life. They also have life skill classes to assist them with a productive life. J.S.C.F., Inc also offers Spiritual Mentoring and Counseling as well as transportation services. They aim to break the cycle of recidivism and homelessness. Their focus is on housing, education, employment and program completions for all clients. They direct and refer their clients to resources available throughout the community. They support, coach and mentor you through the development of independent living skills, such as budgeting, employment or shopping
The Alabama Therapeutic Education Facility (ATEF) helps prepare participants to transition from incarceration to re-entry. It is a residential facility that provides comprehensive behavioral, vocational and educational services to prepare incarcerated people to enter the Work Release Program.
