Kearney County, NE Public Defender’s Office

The Kearney County Public Defender's Office, located in Minden, Nebraska, is responsible for representing individuals whom the Court has determined cannot afford to hire an attorney and who are involved in various legal matters. Additionally, with one Public Defender and other supporting staff, the office represents the county of Kearney in criminal defense cases resulting from lawsuits filed against the indigent client in Minden, Nebraska. The roles and responsibilities of the Kearney County Public Defender's Office are to provide legal representation, consultation, and advice to clients and represent clients through criminal investigative proceedings.
