Know The Truth Prison Ministry is a faith-based nonprofit organization providing ministry services to prisons in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana and Missouri. Since their inception in 2011, founders Eddie and Joy Kelso have held regular prison ministry services in an effort to change the lives of individuals and families impacted by incarceration. Previously a part of the Texas Prison Ministry, they saw the positive influence this program brought to the lives of incarcerated individuals and felt called to offer similar services in Arkansas prisons. Now traveling over 40,000 miles per year, the Kelso's currently minister to 18 units in various states with the hope of expanding into Mississippi soon. During those services, Eddie preaches and, along with Joy, presents a music program. Additionally, Eddie is a certified religious assistant at Varner Prison where he goes there every week to assist the chaplains and to teach in the Principles and Applications for Life Program.
