The mission of Koinonia House National Ministries is to develop and aid local Koinonia Houses, the local church and those attached to the local church as they assist individuals transitioning from incarceration into the community. They promote personal development through faith-based mentorship and relationship building at the local church, jobs and in the larger community. The local ministry house is available to formerly incarcerated individuals upon release and provides access to basic needs like clothing and transportation, residential services, mentorship and job development services. The goal of residential living centers is to help disrupt the cycle of incarceration and reintegrate into the community as spiritual leaders. Individuals can contact the program directly for information or to begin intake.
