Legal Advocates for Children & Youth (LACY)

The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley is committed to ensuring equitable justice for all community members, especially underserved individuals. The organization takes a three-tiered approach to restoring and protecting justice for underrepresented groups: free or affordable legal services, ongoing advocacy at all levels, and community education. Their Housing Program helps individuals make responsible choices about where they live, and works for those who may be experiencing housing discrimination. The Children and Youth Program specifically focuses on protecting the rights and needs of young people. They also maintain a Health Program to help individuals obtain mental healthcare and medical services, even when they cannot afford it. In addition to direct services, The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley operates as a strong advocate in the community, collaborating with other local nonprofits and legislators to protect the rights of underserved individuals. For more information about specific services, individuals should contact the organization directly.
