Light of the Village Ministry is a hands-on Christian Ministry designed to share the love of Christ with individuals impacted by crime and poverty in the Alabama Village and surrounding neighborhoods. They serve six days a week inside the community and strive to provide a consistent presence where they can discover the love of Christ. Light of the Village Ministry provides a re-entry program that serves those recently released from incarceration by assessing job skills, offering GED classes, obtaining identification cards, food handler certifications, and other basic qualifications for entry-level employment. Their Summer Bible Camp teaches Bible study. Their teams go into the city and share the faith, hope, and love of Jesus. Summer Bible Camp is held in the Alabama Village, Maysville and Toulminville.
