Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, Inc. (LAMP) is a community based organization dedicated to supporting veterans, families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Staff and volunteers work hard to assist those in need by identifying and facilitating entry into temporary or permanent housing. They also provide essential case management services to help clients address the underlying issues that contribute to chronic homelessness. Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, Inc. offers several housing options depending individual needs. Temporary housing is available to individuals who would benefit from a clean, sober housing community. Individuals and families are able to stay in temporary housing communities for up to 45 days, with most staying between 30 and 45 days. Transitional housing is available to individuals who are returning to the community following incarceration or treatment for mental health and/or chemical dependence crises. Some individuals and families may also be eligible for support with permanent housing or long term residential housing.
