The Massachusetts Committee For Public Counsel Services in Barnstable County has three divisional offices—a Children and Family Law Division (CAFL), a Youth Advocacy Division (YAD) Trial Office, and a Public Defender Division (PDD) Trial Office located in Hyannis, Massachusetts. With one Attorney-in-Charge and three Staff Attorneys, the Hyannis CAFL office is available for consultation and court-appointed legal representation. In addition, the PDD Hyannis Trial Court Office has one Attorney-in-Charge, one Supervising Attorney, and seven Staff Attorneys. The talented and dedicated members of the Barnstable County Trial Court Office represent indigent clients assigned to them by the courts of Cape Cod. Furthermore, the Hyannis YAD Office has one Attorney-in-Charge, and one Staff Counsel, serving youth in the Barnstable, Dukes County and Nantucket County area, including the Barnstable, Edgartown, Falmouth, Orleans and Plymouth Juvenile Courts.
