Massachusetts Committee For Public Counsel Services’s Roxbury Commitment Unit and YAD Trail Office
The Massachusetts Committee For Public Counsel Services in Suffolk County has two divisional offices— a Commitment Unit and a Youth Advocacy Division (YAD) Trial Office, located in Roxbury, Massachusetts. With one Attorney-in-Charge, three Trial Attorneys, and one Appellate Staff Attorney, the Roxbury Commitment Unit (Suffolk County & McLean Hospital) provides counsel to indigent people facing civil commitments to McLean Hospital (Belmont), Lemuel Shattuck Hospital & Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center.
