Missouri State Public Defender’s St. Louis Juvenile Division

The Missouri State Public Defender's St. Louis Juvenile Division is the first Defender District and is located in St. Louis. The Juvenile Division represent indigent juveniles in delinquency proceedings. With one District Defender and Staff Attorneys to assist clients, the Juvenile Division is responsible for representing individuals under 18. The Missouri Public Defender System (MSPD) is responsible for providing legal representation to all indigent citizens accused of or convicted of crimes in Missouri. The mission of the Missouri State Public Defender System is to provide high-quality, zealous advocacy for indigent people who are accused of a crime in the State of Missouri. MSPD attempts to provide every client with a high-quality, competent, ardent defense team at every stage of the process in which public defenders are necessary. The team is led by a licensed Missouri attorney devoted full-time to criminal law practice.
